Fans of world-conquering US skate-punk veterans Authority Zero are counting the days until their debut shows in Aotearoa New Zealand, headlining Double Whammy in Tāmaki Makaurau and Valhalla in Te Whanganui-a-Tara this March. Founded in 1994 and still helmed by vocalist Jason DeVore, they’re ramping up excitement with today’s reveal of local supports for each city. Auckland’s show welcomes on board Kirikiriroa punk rockers The Recently Deceived and Taupō ska collective Skarpakazoo, while Wellington punters will be treated to opening sets by acoustic punk / anti-folk maverick Departure Party and ska punks Ska Pai.
