U.S. Department of Justice’s Assets Forfeiture Fund is currently where cash goes. So it’s not like the money is going out to taxpayers or something.

It would be crazy for other nations to own Bitcoins. With so much ease that the US government was able to seize the Bitcoins and it can be done anywhere.
