One of the most famous dance ensembles in the world, the Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili, is returning to Belgrade where there will perform on 31st March, at 8 PM.
With incredible stage mastery and thrilling choreographies that defy gravity, these artists have earned titles such as “the Flying Georgians”, “the eighth wonder of the world”, “a hurricane on stage”, “the miracle from Georgia”, “poetry in motion”, “the best dancers in the world”, and many others, and they have been named the best show on Broadway several times.
Sukhishvili was founded in 1945 and quickly gained a reputation that spread across the world. In more than 75 years of existence, they have performed in over 100 countries on all continents, on the most renowned and largest stages in London, New York, Paris and Milan. On more than 300 regional and world tours, with around 20,000 performances, they have thrilled over 90 million people and placed Georgian dance firmly on the world map.
The ballet ensemble always performs accompanied by its own orchestra, made up of musicians who have been trained for generations to play traditional Georgian instruments.
