Zensho purchased Lotteria in 2023 and has been converting outlets into the Zetteria brand since then. The name “Zetteria” comes from the combination of “Zeppin (superb) burger” and “cafeteria,” with the restaurant serving hamburgers and faire trade coffee among other items.

Never have been in it, but I did like the name “Lotteria”. “Zetteria” sounds like a character in an anime.
I’m not aware, is there supposed to be a difference? Or is it literally just the name?
The quality of the zeppin (bacon) cheeseburger plummeted while the prices skyrocketed. I used to go often but haven’t been in years now.
They have a surprisingly good fried chicken burger.
Limited experience with chains owned by Zensho and so it looks like the trend will continue even though there’s a Lotteria right outside my home train station.
They changed the cheese on the zeppin cheese burger and it’s not as good now
