US President Donald Trump told the World Economic Forum on Wednesday that he would not authorise a military invasion of Greenland, despite his administration’s desire to take the self-governing territory for security reasons.
“We probably won’t get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force, where we would be, frankly unstoppable,” he said. “But I won’t do that.”
