Ukrainian Diaspora in Norway Demonstrates Unity on Ukraine Unity Day

As reported by Facebook page of the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway

The Ukrainian diaspora in Norway, especially in Oslo, organized a demonstration on the occasion of Ukraine’s Unity Day. Both Ukrainians and Norwegian friends of Ukraine participated in the event, expressing solidarity and support for our state.

The Embassy of Ukraine in Norway reported the event on its Facebook page.

The diplomat Natalia Marikuta, a representative of the Embassy of Ukraine, greeted the participants on Unity Day and stressed the importance of keeping Ukrainians united around the world, especially now – during the full-scale Russian invasion.

During the demonstration, participants paid tribute with a moment of silence to the heroes who died defending Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Diaspora Unity and International Support

The event demonstrated the unity of the Ukrainian community in Norway and international support for Ukraine. We also remind that on January 22 in Latvia, the Embassy of Ukraine together with Latvia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Baiba Braže, representatives of the community and pupils and teachers of the Ukrainian Center Volia.LV, held an action for Unity Day near the historic building of the first diplomatic mission of the Ukrainian People’s Republic.
