Air Serbia has taken delivery of its third and final Embraer E195-E1 aircraft from the Florida-based lessor Azorra, bringing its total fleet to four.

By replacing older turboprop aircraft on specific routes, the airline can now offer faster jet services on shorter sectors throughout Southeast, Western, and Central Europe.

“Welcoming these versatile Embraer E195-E1 aircraft represents another important step in our fleet strategy,” said Jiří Marek, CEO of Air Serbia. “The aircraft offer the right balance of performance, comfort, and efficiency… allowing us to introduce jet service on shorter sectors and improve connectivity for our passengers.”

For Azorra,  the deliveries represent its first customer relationship in Serbia and is part of a growing trend of European airlines seeking flexible leasing solutions to meet rising passenger demand.

“This delivery marks the beginning of a valued partnership built on collaboration and shared long-term objectives,” said John Evans, CEO of Azorra. He noted that the E195-E1 provides the specific “efficiency and flexibility” required to strengthen regional connectivity.

With this fleet expansion complete, Air Serbia is well-positioned to continue its aggressive network growth, bridging the gap between major European hubs and the Balkan region.
