  1. Sounds like an Indian wrote it (no shade at Indians they just love the phrase “each and every”)

  2. From 「日本人ファースト」to 『ひとりひとりが日本」. What a massive collapse and just goes to show what happens to upstart political parties that try to outflank the LDP on the right. Looking back, I think Sanseito will be just another flash in the pan.

  3. The other day I parked next to an old beat up Toyota crown with a sanseito sticker on it.

When I got out I exchanged looks with the driver – an old man wearing one of those raggedy old man bucket hats. He then took a swig of a strong zero then drove off.

  4. Oh no…
I hope it’s not because one of us bought nihonjinfirst.com before Sanseito could ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

  5. What’s that even mean? It doesn’t make sense. ひとりひとりが日本what?? A person isn’t a country.

  6. They had a short lived slogan last year (in English, lol) “Do it yourself!”, but I guess the irony was lost on them.

  7. Sankyu39Every1 on

Probably partially in response to the ever growing international and even domestic negativity towards Trump. Probably not a good idea to emulate an increasingly unpopular brand when you are a ‘populist’ party.

  8. Uhhhh that’s quite the switch. Now I have that crappy HS Musical soundtrack running in my head “We’re all in this together!” My son was like nine when the first one came out and loved it, so I got the dubious privilege of having that soundtrack pounded into my memory forever.

  9. Last time he said they would run with Japan first instead of Japanese first next election. What happened to that?
