The LC itself won’t solve everything. It will give these people a goal and a purpose for sure but there’s also domestic influences and peer pressure. Plus making school mandatory up to the LC also closes some routes for early apprenticeships which is a viable alternative to the education system. The school system is not for everyone.
Or these are just bots.

Cloud seeding is a real thing, but it’s normally done by people who live in deserts and that. I can’t imagine why anyone would ever bother doing it in Ireland. Unless it’s a conspiracy led by some sort of frog people who need to stay perpetually damp. And even then they could get the same result simply by moving to Galway.

So I am not surprised at this.

Ireland has one of the highest proportions of bots online globally.
These bots, alongside controlled opposition (like Alex Jones) are intended to discredit discussions that have some truth to them by making absurd and exaggerated claims that become inherently associated with the overall discussion.
For example, it is a matter of public record that the US military has used cloud seeding for military purposes, having conducted a program named Operation Popeye during the Vietnam war. This operation centred around using cloud seeding via silver iodide in order to induce rain outside of the monsoon season in order to make the Ho Chi Minh Trail impassable, cutting off Vietnamese supply lines.
Despite this, any mention of cloud seeding and it’s military applications inevitably leads to a load of people calling you a crazy conspiracy theorist because bots are used to make people think everyone who talks about cloud seeding thinks it’s being used to make Ireland cloudy and rainy or being released from every passenger plane.

I left school after my junior cert and I’m far from believing this random nonsense. I don’t think it’s length of education but instead quality. That or maybe stupidity is genetic,
I’m all for being skeptic and always questioning what we’re told, but any sensible person will accept that in being skeptical, the truth will always shine brighter than anything else. Basically if you always ask ‘why’, eventually the answer will be beyond obvious – and it’s definitely not fckn chemtrails or vaccines causing autism
I’ve found that many of these ‘skeptics’ and all them lot are usually just using random conspiracies to loosely connect to some form of prejudice. E.G ‘planes are poisoning us with chemtrails and all the airlines are owned by non-whites, so all non-white people are evil’ it’s beyond moronic lol

Tbf a lot of this is rooted in other countries denying doing it then later admitting to doing it (cloud seeding that is).
Same with pharma products. People assume the worst of all products because of how many scandals and coverups there have been by companies that still exist and trade. The CIA actively spreading conspiracies back in the day in order to cover up what they were actually doing also doesn’t help it. We might not be in the states but we are heavily influenced by them.
Leaving cert won’t fix this as it actually is a fairly logical scepticism. Now the things they’re saying can be batshit crazy but because they don’t believe the previously unethical sources they just believe whatever someone else tells them.(Basically have blinders on when it comes to other sources since they focus on the original ones) Only way to fix it long term would be to force transparency from the government and actually punish entities that commit such crimes. (Vioxx basically ended with a slap on the wrist for Merck for example).
