Indian carrier IndiGo launched direct flights between Mumbai and Athens using India’s first Airbus A321XLR last Friday.
On Saturday, IndiGo performed the first direct flight from Athens to New Delhi with the same aircraft.
With these routes, IndiGo becomes the first Indian carrier to operate direct flights between the two countries, offering three flights per week to each destination.
The airline also plans to strengthen Greek connectivity further by gradually adding more destinations.
