The Swedish government has decided to launch the Unity Center for Ukrainians in Sweden – a space for support and interaction among Ukrainian citizens living in this country.
The Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine announced this on Telegram.
«The Government of Sweden has decided to establish the Unity Center, which will be a space for support and interaction for Ukrainians in this country. This decision became possible thanks to the agreements reached during the visit to Sweden by Ukraine’s Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity Denys Ulutin in October 2025, as well as the efforts of the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden»

The project will be implemented in close cooperation with Swedish authorities, the Ukrainian side, and civil society organizations.
To create and operate the center, the Government of Sweden will provide a grant of 900 thousand euros to the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (International Centre for Migration Policy Development).
Unity Hub is expected to begin operations as early as the summer of 2026.
The Aims of Unity Hub and Its Role for the Ukrainian Diaspora in Sweden
This center is intended to be a pillar of support for Ukrainians in Sweden, offering informational support, joint initiatives, and engagement with local authorities and civil society, with a view to integration and joint adaptation in the new environment.
