      Maybe this old guy needs some “cultural” lectures to learn how to behave asa Japanese? Or those are only limited to foreigners?

      Maybe it’s my outside perspective here, but this seems like a very short sentence for what happened, especially after doing it again right after.

      This headline sounded ridiculous so I felt compelled to read the original…

      First of all, I don’t see the number 42 months anywhere. In the end AFTER the two incidents he got sentenced to 38 months jail time.

      Secondly, he hit the high school kid 3 days after the first incident with a revoked license. There’s no “next day” involved in this.

      Maybe I might have missed something since it’s in the middle of the night and I’m sleepy (but not sleepy enough to be able to fall asleep)? It was a worse enough situation as it originally happened so I don’t understand the need for twisting the facts.

      Whoever translated this headline should get their translation license revoked.

      My 84 year old dad was still driving, he had a fall and hit his head and was taken to hospital. I used that opportunity to have the doctors recommend his license be cancelled, thank God, he would have killed someone
