The first live show of X Factor Malta: Back To Win delivered the drama, and two contestants have officially said goodbye.
Mamaclay became the first contestant to be eliminated after receiving the lowest number of public votes, resulting in an instant exit from the competition.
A few moments later, Maya faced Shauna in the sing-off and after the judges cast their votes, Maya’s journey in this year’s edition came to an end.
It is never easy saying goodbye at this stage, but the competition is only getting tougher from here.
