The National Border Management Center (NBMC) has announced that starting tomorrow, January 26, 2026, starting at 12:00, there will be an interruption in the movement of trucks at all border crossing points with Serbia.
According to information received from Serbian border officials, the disruption is a result of protests by truck drivers on Serbian territory, organized due to measures taken by the European Union for drivers in the region. The protests are expected to last up to seven days.
The QKMK warns that these protests will directly affect the circulation of transport vehicles and goods, and may cause traffic congestion in the border areas of the Republic of Kosovo with the countries of the region involved in the protests.
Authorities recommend that freight transport associations and truck drivers maintain constant contact with their counterparts and colleagues in the region, to be informed in a timely manner about developments.
