German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will be hosting European leaders at the North Sea Summit, taking place in Hamburg for the first time.
They’re focusing on expanding clean energy infrastructure, in particular wind power.
There are reports that a deal will be signed be signed by Britain, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Norway.
The talks come after an eventful World Economic Forum in Davos, an event that saw US President Donald Trump continue his push to annex Greenland, which is semi-autonomous Danish territory.
