“I am not silent; what I am focused on is my task and my mission, which is to govern the country,” said Luís Montenegro as he left the presentation of the Digital Business Wallet at the Palácio da Bolsa in Porto.
Without stopping to give a statement to journalists and while heading for the exit, the head of the executive, when asked if his silence could not be understood as a sign of weakness, said he understands the questions and all the political debate that takes place in other dimensions of the country’s political life, but, at the moment, he is focused only on governing.
“I am focused on what is my main task, which is to conduct the Government’s policy and lead the country to a higher level of economic development, of economic strength,” he insisted.
