So China is coming to Canada’s defense publicly lol. Donald needs to chill

The deal mainly just reverses some really high tariffs implemented in 2024 right? That would make it a “normalise relations deal” more than anything new. If I’m not mistaken about that, then I really struggle to see how anyone could interpret this deal as being aimed at the US.

The deal with china is not a deal as much as it is just a return to normal and a method to improve relations

So china is standing up for us now… I’m not prepared for how weird 2026 is going to be with how January has already been if it continues to get worse

China doesn’t really have to do a whole lot at this point, prepare for possible conflict as global powers rarely give up easily, but the US as the global reserve currency and the head of the global order is coming to a close, and china will take its place. It’s not a matter of if, it’s when. US is outta money, they spend way more than they make hence the global shake downs of nations. They have all the factors going on within their own borders needed for an empire to collapse. Once countries start dumping their reserves it’s rip to the hegemon they once were.

Not “directly” aimed at US, just chipping away at the edges like any good Communist.

I am kind of surprised by our deal with China. Our goods are now flowing to China, but boatloads of Chinese vehicles aren’t going to be arriving here right away. They’ll need to develop some sort of dealership network or network with current dealerships. All this is going to take time on their end and it isn’t just one automotive manufacturer in China that is going to have to do it. I know they can move fast over there, but here they’ll need to get leases and agreements made, plus training. I’d be surprised if we see any Chinese vehicles in a year.

Honestly, wouldn’t it be nice if China took on hockey and started to become a credible contender. I feel like there’s a void left by Russia these days. It would be nice to have another country continue to make us up our game.

At this point, I felt every nation is just playing with Trump. This is funny asf.

Really? We aren’t part of some sneaky deal to infiltrate the US with Chinese goods and spyware? Oh Donald, why would you lie to me!
Trump wants America to lower the amount of goods they import from us, but he doesn’t want us to sell our unsold goods to others.

All Trump’s bluster is meaningless……..he and his administration are backtracking on the 100% tariffs as they say they won’t accept “free” trade between Canada and China. The deal was never about free trade just restoring normal trade relations with China. In the future we will establish trade with any trading partner we want and will not answer to the Trump US administration.

Everyone in the world, except for Russia and Israel, are against the US now. The US has become the true baddies.

Trumpstein should focus a lot more on what’s happening at home than other countries at the moment.

This is how a responsible, competent nation behaves — even when it’s autocratic. China could throw us under the bus in any attempt to weaken North America. But they won’t.

Don’t worry trumpy, we’re just undoing some of the stuff we had to do under Biden, you know, your arch nemesis? The guy you blame all the bad things on. Yea it was his fault so don’t you worry your Cheeto stained little hands.
