  1. The Israeli military announced Monday that it had recovered the remains of the final deceased hostage in Gaza, marking the first time since 2014 that there are no Israeli hostages in the enclave.

Ran Gvili, an Israeli police officer who was killed on October 7, 2023, and abducted to Gaza, was the last of the hostages abducted on that date whose remains were still in Gaza.

“After an identification process conducted by the National Center of Forensic Medicine together with the Israel Police and the Military Rabbinate, officials notified his family that his remains had been identified and would be brought to burial,” the Israel Defense Forces said in a statement.

  2. A great weight off of every israeli’s shoulder. Now we can move forward and work on healing our wounds.

The things that I saw they do to their own people… I can’t imagine what he’s been through alive in their captivity as a police officer.

    May he rest in peace

  4. So they can stop killing Palestinian children now, right? RIGHT???

    20,000+ DEAD CHILDREN.

  5. whats most amazing to me about this is that Hamas *apparently* kept track of all hostages, even the ones who died early on, and kept their corpses onice and safe in case they needed to be returned at some point.

  6. Great, now they can go home finally. In terms of proportion this shitshow was like using bazooka against fly

  7. Did they jump on the occasion to stop assassinations of innocent children or is this still a thing

  8. So 251 Israeli hostages. About 70,000 Palestinians killed. That means each hostage life is worth 27 Palestinian lives. Humanity sucks.
