  4. We need to be demanding the resignation of the entire administration. There isn’t a single redeemable person in the entire cabinet

  5. I want her impeached, removed and prosecuted. But part of me is worried that voters will see that as a fix to the problem, rather than one of many involved in the kidnapping, assault and murder of innocent people. This must be a beginning and cannot be allowed to end with Noem.

MY RESPONSE IS TOO LONG DON’T CARE (TLDC). But I’m beyond pissed. And if you are too, please read.

PLEASE LOOK at who is not cosponsoring it and contact them if they are your Rep. In Northern VA my Dem Rep has not cosponsored this yet (and I double checked the bill on Congress.gov). There are over 200 Dems in the House. 70 isn’t enough.

I’ve contacted my U.S. Rep and Senators probably 20 times about impeaching Noem and my other thoughts about these murders. I will not stop.

People say they want to help Minnesota but but can’t afford to donate. You can email (or call) your Members of Congress to impeach Noem (and Trump) and to not vote on passing DHS funding (including ICE) (they vote tomorrow). It takes 5 minutes. It’s free. You can do it from anywhere. It matters no matter what you think.

I used to work in public policy for 12 years so l visited Capitol Hill often (pre-Trump) and even with all the bullshit that goes on, I saw some great shit happening up there. Some great legislation, collaboration, inspirational senators. I was in awe. I ain’t in awe anymore and I’m over it many days but do not ever make it easy on your Members of Congress by staying silent. Until whatever is next, do not shut up about this insanity. This horror.

I’m not eloquent. So many of you are on here so please use your eloquent voices. And even if you are like me you can still get your point across. In two sentences.

To find your Member of Congress’ contact info:
    https://www.congress.gov/members/find-your-member

Also, there is this great link on all the ways to help Minnesota including boycotting companies (and what to say to your Congressional members). If they haven’t already, ICE is coming for all of our cities/towns/states.

Hopefully they will get her RBF off the air. I’m getting tired of changing the channel every time one of her ads for self deportation comes on the TV

  8. Alternative_Owl5302 on

IMO, She’ll be out of her job in a week. Homan in. After the dust settles and they’ve cleaned up her reputation a bit she’ll get a less visible role under Trump.

  9. This is nice, but every cabinet member is incompetent at best, a traitor at worst. Trump needs to be impeached and the whole government redone.

  10. Even if she resigns, they will go ahead with impeachment to ensure she can never hold Federal public office. Something they should have done after J6 with a certain someone.

  11. Votes needed for impeachment

A majority of the House of Representatives. (435 voting members, 4 seats are vacant)

    * 216 are needed (if everyone votes)
    * 3 Republicans and all Democratics (213)

Two thirds majority of the Senate (100 voting members),

    * 67 are needed (if everyone votes)
    * 20 Republicans, all Democratics (45) and both Independents

I just grabbed the numbers off Wikipedia. Let me know if I’ve made a mistake.

  12. Impeaching Noem is performative nonsense. Stephen Miller is the one pulling the strings. They’ll just replace her with another psychopath. Trump and his entire cabinet needs to go.

  13. xoRomaCheena31 on

Trump needs to get ousted. I’m sick of these other people taking the fall for his leadership. Noem is terrible but this is on Trump.

  14. Important_Fruit on

I’m not all that familiar with congressional procedure, but won’t all this be irrelevant unless some Republicans are also on board?

  15. UphillTowardsTheSun on

What does that serve if they cannot impeach Pres Dump itself? Explain this to a Swiss guy who tries to understand what the fuck goes on in your beautiful beautiful country

  16. Seeing this list is a huge step, but it’s only the first move. Real accountability means following through with a proper investigation and a trial. The fact that key leadership isn’t on board yet is incredibly frustrating and shows where the real roadblocks are. We need to keep the pressure on until there’s actual justice.
