Meta is straight-up banning the “ICE List” on Facebook, Instagram, and Threads. They’re claiming it’s “spam” or a privacy violation, even though the info is mostly just public stuff pulled from LinkedIn.
Basically, Zuck and the other tech leads are protecting the feds to stay in the administration’s good graces.

I’m still waiting for people to convince me that facebook is not just a boomer 4chan these days. I don’t know many people around my age or younger that even bother with it anymore. So many deleted, deactivated or just walked away.. it’s wild.

ICE needs to be dismantled and those that perpetrated the atrocities we have been seeing need to be held accountable. That said, distributing what can be considered a list of names to doxx that has no oversight or external fact checking is not a great idea. Imagine if this were a list of Democratic voters, I would expect social media platforms to delete those.
