January the 28th, 2026 – Coca-Cola in Croatia and Dinamo Zagreb have signed a sponsorship partnership set to last for a period of three years.

As Poslovni Dnevnik writes, Coca-Cola in Croatia and Dinamo Zagreb have officially joined forces, with one of the leading truly global companies in the beverage industry becoming the sponsor of the trophy-winning Croatian football club. The three-year sponsorship agreement was signed by Zvonimir Boban, CEO of GNK Dinamo, on behalf of Coca-Cola in Croatia by Dimitris Rompis, CEO of Coca-Cola HBC Croatia, and Daniel Hrupek, Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Adria. With this sponsorship agreement, Powerade will become the official sports drink, and Coca-Cola the official carbonated drink of GNK Dinamo.

“The signing of this sponsorship agreement is, above all, proof of Coca-Cola in Croatia’s respect for Dinamo as a club and for the new path that this club has managed to carve out after so many years. Coca-Cola and Dinamo share common values. Dinamo Zagreb is first and foremost a sports collective, but we’re also deeply aware of our responsibility towards the business community and an identity that is unique in the world of sport. With this move, Coca-Cola has shown that it aligns with Dinamo in a concrete way. That makes us happy, because if anyone has also marked our lives, then it’s certainly Coca-Cola as a favourite global brand,” said Zvonimir Boban, President of GNK Dinamo.

“We’re extremely pleased that as part of our cooperation with sports clubs, we’re starting this cooperation between Coca-Cola in Croatia and Dinamo. Coca-Cola has been produced in Zagreb since 1968, and is at the same time both a local and international brand, similar to Dinamo. We believe that this will be the beginning of a great and long-term cooperation, thanks to which Coca-Cola and Powerade will be even more accessible to fans and their guests,” said Dimitris Rompis, CEO of Coca-Cola in Croatia.

“This strategic partnership with Coca-Cola further emphasises the intention of GNK Dinamo to connect with the best players from different industries. In this way, we’re further strengthening the brand and its position in the market, with a focus on long-term sustainability and excellence. This cooperation will enable strong interaction with fans and members, to whom we’ll offer a new, even better experience, both during home matches and in other segments outside the stadium, such as campaigns on social media and joint marketing and sales campaigns,” said Hrvoje Puhalo, member of the board for marketing and sales of GNK Dinamo.

Coca-Cola in Croatia has otherwise been actively present in sports for many years through partnerships with clubs, associations and sporting events around the world. This is primarily because we all see sport as a space for togetherness, team spirit and top performances. We’re pleased to continue our successful cooperation with Dinamo, one of the most recognisable sports symbols of Zagreb and an important part of the sporting community, with today’s agreement.

With this partnership, through our brands Powerade and Coca-Cola, we want to be part of a comprehensive approach to the preparation and performance of players and support them in the daily challenges of training and matches, with a special emphasis on proper hydration and recovery. We’re convinced that this multi-year partnership will contribute to the creation of new sporting successes, and we’d like to sincerely wish the GNK Dinamo team many excellent results in their upcoming matches and throughout the rest of the season,” said Daniel Hrupek, Marketing Director of Coca-Cola Adria, on the occasion of the signing.

The Coca-Cola in Croatia and Dinamo sponsorship partnership brings together two brands that have lived with people for generations, one is local, while the other is globally recognised.
