The U.S. joins Iran, Libya, and Yemen in being the only countries that did not join the agreement.

  2. He’s a useless piece of garbage at this point. My 2 year old nephew would be a better president at this point

  3. Lots of cities and states have joined. Many influence other states whether they like it or not, like California.

  4. The fact that anyone who doesn’t believe in climate change can become ruler of a democratic nation is astonishing. And an indictment on any nation it happens in.

  5. Call me crazy but it seems such bi-polar, flip floppy policy every 4 years isn’t a good thing.

  6. The Trump and conservative position is that global climate change should be accelerated at all costs without any environmental changes because of fossil fuel bribes and general contrariness. If it kills us all or even degrades the economy, it’s a Bonus Rapture ™. Gold tickets on sale now! Chances are, ya already paid for them.

Even Republicans who think going full brain-damage on climate safety and renewables to accelerate the deterioration at any price is stupid and bad economics on top of possible eternal genocide were planning to never do anything to make that known or effective in the party. So, nobody has to care what they think and they are weirdly cool with that. Leadership, everybody, look at the amazing leadership! The environment and economy never stood a chance. Chinese and Russian leaders are straight up wanking themselves raw to the ultimate fantasy of a US implosion taking NATO and all of Asia with it to hell.

Well, another one for your account.

But you know what? Fuck him.

The world goes on without this cheap buffoon.

And that’s the best we can do. .

  8. Please don’t put Abdication and Trump in the same sentence unless it is what we’re all hoping it is when we read that!

I saw the words “Abdication” and “Trump” next to each other and for a fraction of a second I dared to hope

  10. Other countries should sanction their imports benefiting from that as far as feasible.
And if they retaliate have an automatism to double that on reverse.

And let me tell you what California did last time Trump did this. Goveror Newsom created a coalition of governors from around the US to commit to the framework of the Paris Climate Agreement without the federal government. It now includes 24 States. It also Co-Founded a group called Under2 Coalition which is now the largest global network of subnational partnerships in the world fighting climate change, including partnerships with countries like Canada, Australia,Denmark, Brazil,Mexico, Norway and Sweden.

Anyways, proud of my state. Fuck Donald Trump.

  12. This will be cited as one of the main reasons the US can’t be trusted to honor its commitments because a change in leadership can unilaterally change everything.

To restore faith with those we negotiate on the global stage, all changes and commitments should require congressional approval. This includes tariffs and NATO and this. Tariffs are already under the jurisdiction of Congress but considering this Congress is complicit and not pushing back, he’s been allowed to levy them as he sees fit, which I hope SCOTUS will decide soon whether or not he should be allowed to continue.

Call me crazy but octogenarians should NOT be permitted to dictate long term politics with the potential to destroy a world they won’t have to live in.
