    Honest question.

If defamation is technically only decided on the grounds of whether there was damage to the image (regardless of whether or not it’s true), how is any politician able to be critisized in cases like this? How has it gone down in the past?

  2. The fact that a literal Korean cult is *this* deeply embedded into Japanese hard-line conservativism should be the story of the decade, yet most Japanese simply do not care. This was the nightmare scenario for neto uyoku, ‘evil Zainichi Koreans’ meddling in their politics, but when it is revealed the moonies literally do control their biggest idols, they remain silent.

  3. 540,000 yen?!!! WHAT A SCANDALOUS amount of money.
