ZAGREB, 28 Jan (Hina/CW) – The official website of Croatia’s new electronic toll collection system, Crolibertas, is now publicly available, state motorway operator Hrvatske autoceste (HAC) said on Tuesday.
The website www.crolibertas.hr is designed as a central information hub, providing currently available details on the system, including its key features and technical specifications.
Content is available in Croatian and English and will be updated regularly to ensure timely and accurate information on the project’s progress.
The aim is to make the transition to the new system easier for users.
The new toll collection system, which will eliminate toll booths, is expected to become operational in early March 2027.
The system will let vehicles travel at up to 130 km/h without stopping, using electronic tags and licence-plate cameras.
Light vehicles must register a plate and payment method, while heavy vehicles need electronic tags.
