ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (MNTV) — Pakistani scholar Muhammad Ibrahim has earned a doctorate in nanosciences from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology after successfully defending his PhD thesis in Trondheim, marking another milestone for Pakistani researchers in advanced scientific fields.
Ibrahim’s research, titled “Silicon-Based Materials for Additive Manufacturing,” focuses on advanced applications of nanomaterials and their potential use in industry and medicine.
His work proposes new methods for integrating nanotechnology into practical and scalable manufacturing solutions.
An international panel of examiners praised the depth of his experimental research and underscored the real-world applications of his findings. Ibrahim said completing his doctorate at NTNU was an honor and that he hopes to apply his expertise to promote innovation benefiting both Pakistan and the global scientific community.
He said he plans to continue working in research and development, with a focus on scalable nanoscience applications, and dedicated his achievement to the support and prayers of his parents, calling it a source of pride for Pakistan.
