Raja only published pictures of the contract signing on its official platforms, without revealing the duration of the contract, merely welcoming the new incoming player.
Halimi joined Raja after terminating his contract with the Polish club Śląsk Wrocław, embarking on his first experience in African football, following a long professional career in several European leagues, most notably the German and Danish leagues.
The player, born on December 12, 1994, is considered an experienced name in the playmaker position, known for his precise left foot, ability to shoot from outside the penalty area, as well as his good field vision and chance creation.
Halimi previously defended the colors of clubs Mainz 05, FSV Frankfurt, and Sandhausen in the German league before experiencing a stint with Brøndby IF in Denmark, followed by a move to the Polish league.
Internationally, Halimi represented Germany’s youth teams before choosing to wear the Kosovo national team’s jersey, participating with them in several official matches in the World Cup and European Championship qualifiers.
Raja supporters hope that Halimi will be a qualitative addition to the team in the upcoming phase and contribute with his European experience to enhancing the club’s chances in local and continental competitions.
