AIDAN, Malta’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, will be heading to Bulgaria tomorrow to perform his winning entry ‘Bella’ during the country’s national final this Saturday night.
“I can’t wait to visit Bulgaria again, after I recorded ‘Bella’ with the Bulgarian Symphonic Orchestra in November. Excited to meet the Bulgarian artists and my colleague Alis from Albania, who will also perform,” said AIDAN said about his visit to Bulgaria.
This will be the first time AIDAN performs ‘Bella’ abroad since winning Malta’s national selection, marking the start of what is expected to be a busy promotional schedule on the road to Eurovision.
Bulgaria is set to vote in Malta’s semi-final on 14th May, making the appearance a strategic opportunity to showcase Malta’s entry to an international audience ahead of Eurovision.
On Saturday morning, AIDAN will appear on Bulgaria’s most-watched morning programme, BNT’s This Morning, followed by a series of television and radio interviews throughout his stay.
The Bulgarian national final will take place on Saturday 31st January, with AIDAN continuing to promote ‘Bella’ and Malta’s Eurovision 2026 entry to an international audience before returning to Malta.
