Last Saturday, Jan. 17, Fontana High School proudly hosted the 2026 Major Bill Barker Invitational Marksmanship Competition. There were a total of 16 teams and 64 indi- vidual competitors, with some schools traveling from as far as Las Vegas, San Jose and Selma to participate.
“Fontana’s MCJROTC cadets represent our school with outstanding sportsmanship, professionalism, and exceptional performance,” Lt. Col. R.D. Meelarp, senior Marine instructor, said.
“Their hard work and dedication truly shone.”
