This was kinda to be expected, now that Rubio seems to be one of the more influential advisers to Trump atm. He’s child of Cuban refugee’s, so taking down the Communist Government there has always been a personal vendetta for him.

Reminds me of the scene in Farewell to the King, when Rajah Learoyd comes out of the jungle and surrenders so the forest people can have salt. The people always suffer while the powerful get richer.

Why do we still so heavily punish a powerless Carribean country that happened to be an ally of a country that hasn’t existed for going on 4 decades? And how the fuck do we still get to maintain a millitary base and black-site prison there?
