But both have denied knowing or meeting Epstein.
Two former presidents of Kosovo are mentioned in the recently released files of the late American financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was convicted of involvement in the trafficking and sexual abuse of underage girls.
The United States Department of Justice released over 3 million Epstein documents at the end of January, including former presidents Atifete Jahjaga and Behgjet Pacolli.
Valentina Abazi , Jahjaga’s advisor, responded on behalf of the former president and denied that there was a meeting between Epstein and Jahjaga.
“President Jahjaga has never met him, never requested a meeting with him, and she doesn’t even know who he is,” Abazi told Koha.
Another e-mail sent by Daniel Siad to Epstein’s address is titled ” Who is Behgjet Pacolli? “, and also includes a link to a YouTube video, which is now unopened.

Time also asked Pacolli if he knew Epstein, if he had met him, and if he had ever visited his island.
But Pacolli has denied having heard of it.
