BNT has confirmed that an international team will be working with DARA to create her potential songs for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Following her victory in the Artist Final of Natsionalnata Selektsiya 2026, BNT has revealed more details of the next phase of the selection. Over the next month, DARA will work with an international team to create a number of potential songs for the Eurovision Song Contest, which will be presented on February 28.

Speaking to BNT News, Anton Andonov, member of the BNT Board of Directors, commented:

“There is a month in which she will work with an extremely successful foreign production team with many podium finishes in Eurovision over the years. Three songs will be produced with this team.”

BNT has not revealed directly who the team are that will working with DARA on her entry for the Eurovision Song Contest. However, it has been speculated that due to Victoria Chalkitis’ role as a jury member in the Artist Final, the ‘Dream Team’ will be working on the song. Dimitris Kontopoulos and Fokas Evangelinos are the key members of the Team and have created fifteen songs for Eurovision, including two second-place and two third-place entries. They have also produced a further four songs after they were selected.

In the final on February 28, DARA will perform three songs that have been created specifically for the Eurovision Song Contest. A ten-member jury will vote on the songs alongside the public. Each juror will award between 1 and 3 points to the songs. Their points will then be converted into 3 points for the song with the most points and 1 point to the song with the least points. The public’s votes will also be converted to 3 points for their favourite to 1 point for their least favourite. The winning song will be the one that receives the most points.
