A1 Macedonia starts phased shutdown of 3G network

North Macedonia operator A1 Macedonia is initiating the phased shutdown of its 3G network as part of a strategy to transition to more advanced 4G and 5G technologies. The complete shutdown of the 3G network in the Kriva Palanka region is scheduled for 2 February 2026.
