OLYMPIA, Wash. — Washington state is seeing its first measles outbreak in years.
And state health leaders say it’s an important reminder about just how contagious the virus can be.
6 cases have now been confirmed in Snohomish County alone – with additional unrelated cases in Kittitas and Clark Counties.
ARC Seattle co-anchor Steve McCarron spoke with Washington State Health Secretary Dennis Worsham about the current outbreak, who’s most at-risk, and what health officials are doing to try to stop the spread.
