A week is a long time in politics, especially when you’re dealing with a President like Donald Trump. By that standard 3 years is practically a lifetime.
Natural events do happen.
We should assume that Trump hasn’t stopped anything and that he is about to create some kind of havoc as a distraction.

Can’t believe it has just been a week since that Greenland drama slowed down. This year politics seems to be on roller coaster even by Trump standards.
Of course,
Trump will completely forget this recent clusterfuck fiasco of an embarrassment (like he forgot the Greenlad Fiasco of his first term), and in a few months will think to himself “hey, I should invade greenland!”

Probably the rest of the administration patiently told him that if he wanted to strike Iran, having access to the EU skies, bases and intel might be necessary, and the Greenland objectives would need to take a step back.

Affirm the sovereignty of Greenland being Danish territory and the right of the Greenlandic people to determine their own destiny. Sign a non aggression pact with Canada and affirmation of Canadian sovereignty, respecting all borders, and permanently ending any talks of annexing Canadian territory in any capacity in perpetuity. Immediately drop all tariffs that were imposed on any nation after 2000. Restore the deminimis exemption worldwide and set amount at $500. Sign treaties with the EU and other allied nations pledging the security of NATO and pledging not to harass, or intimidate any fellow member of NATO.
