TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) – A big night is on tap Thursday at Topeka High School.
That’s when the third Topeka High Sports Hall of Honor class will be introduced.
The induction ceremony will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday in Topeka High’s Hoeher Auditorium.

The Topeka High School Sports Hall of Honor will welcome its newest members during a ceremony Thursday night at the school, 800 S.W. 10th Ave.(Phil Anderson)
All recipients will be honored during Friday night’s home basketball game between the Washburn Rural Junior Blues and Topeka High School Trojans.9u
Athletes who will be inducted as recipients of the Trojan Award will include:
John “J.B.” Littlejohn, Class of 1956
Dan Wieser, Class of 1974
Nannette Lee Hicks, Class of 1975
Rosemary Burnett, Class of 1982
David Proctor, Class of 1986
Beau Vest, Class of 1995
Post-Graduate Achievement recipients of the Black and Gold Award will include:
Joe Douglas, Class of 1946
Ted Evans, Class of 1972
Carmen Wright Rojas, Class of 1997
Anjanae Wilson Toney, Class of 2000
Support staff recipients for the Three Cheers Award will include:
David Fisher, Class of 1958

The Team Spirit Award inductees will include:
Members of the 1969-70 Men’s Gymnastics team
Members of the 1986 state champion Men’s Basketball Team
