One suspects that the company isn’t actually sure where the nuts in this particular bag came from—maybe nuts, or at least some types of nuts, are considered a fungible commodity—and so just listed all the places that they *might* have come from.

I have observed the pistachio industry in the Great Central Valley of California and it is mechanized and efficient. Far cry from the dyed pink Iranian pistachios of my childhood. They dyed them to cover the stains of the rotting husk they were too slow to remove.
