In addition to being invited to speak at the JEC Leadership Circle, green circular materials provider Swancor Holdings (Nantou, Taiwan) is formally announcing its entry into the AI robotics and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) markets under its JEC World theme, “Revolution for Circular Economy in Thermosetting Composites.”

The core of Swancor’s transformation lies in ecosystem integration. The future Swancor will not only sell materials but also integrate its core product, EzCiclo (recyclable thermoset resin), into high-end applications. By leveraging the lightweight advantages of composite materials, Swancor aims to provide “lightweight, low-carbon and recyclable” one-stop solutions to the global market.

The following Swancor technologies will be available for viewing at the JEC Innovation Planet:

  • Robot ankle and knee composite linkage. Crafted using EzCiclo carbon fiber prepreg, this component reduces weight by 30-50% compared to traditional titanium alloys. It not only enhances the robot’s motion stability and battery life but can also be recycled via CleaVER technology at the end of its product life, reducing carbon footprints.
  • Recyclable rCF SMC battery enclosure. A result of joint research with Fraunhofer ICT in Germany, this innovation combines recycled carbon fiber (rCF) exceeding 50% with recyclable resin, acting as a “plug-and-play” green solution for molders.

Visitors can experience the integration of AI technology and composite materials up close: A humanoid reception robot will introduce Swancor’s innovative technologies in English and French; additionally, a robotic dog will demonstrate its movement agility on-site.
