If this battle is won, then the following battle will be for the rest of the units, Ignacio Araluce tells NucNet

Almaraz Extension Go-Ahead Will Open Way For Spain’s Other Nuclear Plants To Follow, Says Foro Nuclear
Ignacio Araluce said that should Almaraz succeed in getting an extension, it would open the way for the country’s other reactors to follow. Coourtesy Foro Nuclear.

If the government grants an extension to the lifetime of Spain’s Almaraz nuclear plant in the south-western region of Extremadura, there will be a “100% probability” that the country’s six other plants would also achieve them, Spain’s industry group Foro Nuclear told NucNet.
