Sun Force. The Aktor Group’s RES investment plan is progressing, as on Friday it completed the acquisition of 51% of Sun Force, which is the energy arm of the Agrogroup, of the Mitsiolidis family and the Bozatzidis family, for 4.1 million euros. Sun Force has 42 photovoltaic parks in operation or in the pipeline, with a total capacity of 37 MW.
A new photovoltaic park for energy communities in Western Greece will lower energy costs for nearly 700,000 people, Energy Minister Stavros Papastavrou announced Monday.
Speaking in the area after meeting with Western Greece Regional Governor Nektarios Farmakis, Papastavrou said, “I am happy to announce that a long-standing request of the Region of Western Greece begins,” adding that the project will “benefit all residents of the Region, and particularly farmers.”
Papastavrou also added that the park is already guaranteed European funding.
