    The Royals mean business today.

With Kate/Will being “deeply concerned” and Buck Palace “ready to support”, Andrew must be quaking in his boots.

  2. Remarkable_Ad1715 on

It’s because they’ve been caught, not because they want justice

This should have been dealt with years ago

  3. Someone needs to go back and look, in detail, at if taxpayers money went to ‘hush’ payments – ‘cos his mother’s fingerprints would be all over them if that’s the case.

  4. FrustratedPCBuild on

Never let it be said that the royals have no power. Liz knew all of this and used our money to keep it covered up.

  5. Are they going to provide evidence or testimony into how much they knew?

Otherwise, they’re going to do diddly squat and offer empty platitudes like this to try and win back the public – which won’t work.

  6. Is anyone else struggling with the idea that Charlie didn’t know what was going on and/or wasn’t involved?

I don’t want to believe that he was involved, but I’m not convinced he didn’t at least know about Andrew’s connections.

I wish there’d be a bit of a retrospective on the role the Queen played in trying to cover all this up.

The FBI tried to work with UK authorities to get Andy to testify in congress in 2020 but for some mysterious reason the request was rejected.

Sweet little old lady she was not.

  8. Andrew is an absolute liability, the hassle he has caused the Royal Family should show conspiracy theorists they aren’t that powerful as he would have disposed of years ago.

  9. milkonyourmustache on

They’ve had years to bury evidence, silence victims, even employed the police to prevent court summons letters from being delivered to him. A fig leaf is a rainforest compared to what this is.

The world is rotten at it’s core because of who is in power.

Throwing him under the bus (given that he’s placed himself there). Is the absolute best thing The Palace can do to retain some faith and integrity to help secure their long-term future as a monarchy.

  11. Supporting the police to find no case to answer I bet . Its disgraceful. Another paedo supporting nation , enough to make one puke

  12. They’re likely to sacrifice Andrew at this stage. However, I doubt they would welcome a police investigation into the former Queen’s role in helping her son.

  13. I’m betting, Andrew turned around and said, if I’m going down, I’m telling on all of you. And don’t try to do to me, what you did to Diana….

  14. The only thing they stand ready to support is Andrew’s wellbeing. How else do you end up in a free housing after all the shit he’s been through.

  15. If the royals are to survive they need to hang him out to dry along with everyone else who knew

But as always the rich and powerful stay rich and powerful and nothing ever happens

  16. Crystal Palace struggling the last few weeks, but I don’t know why they’re involved with this?!

For all the people scoffing at this in this thread, if only the US government were as ‘strict’ with Trump and all the other pedo billionaires as the monarchy is being with Andrew.

I just love the thought of Charlie being sat on his sofa stressing out rubbing his face as Camila reads him the latest notification on their phone

    “This fucking guy 😡”

  19. PositiveLibrary7032 on

Yeah and they were ready to pay £10 million quid to a woman he never met for something he never did.

    ‘Forced to support’ more like.

  20. Confident-Ant-3763 on

They will have to gambit him. William has to show that he will not inherit the sins of the boomers going forward.

  21. Ah yes – being heckled in public once again has certainly sharpened his attention.

With another 3 million Epstein files pending release this story isn’t going away!

  22. If Andrew has done something Illegal then he should be taken to court.

I have no positive feelings about Andrew. But I’m also not aware of any proof that he did something illegal. He seems like a self centered and slimy human, but that is not a crime.

He had his picture taken with a 17 year old. Not illegal. I assume he also had sex with that 17 year old. Gross but also not illegal in the UK. His friend was arrested for sex trafficking. Not illegal to be friends with a sex trafficker.

Now there are pictures of Andrew kneeling on the floor beside a person. Not illegal.

Andrew may have known what Epstein was up to, I’m going to guess that knowing and doing nothing to stop it would still not be illegal.

If he helped Epstein run a sex trafficking ring then that would be illegal and if he had sex with women he knew were being trafficked that would be illegal, but I haven’t seen evidence of that (doesn’t mean there isn’t some) and there needs to be some strong evidence to take someone to court.

Virginia Giuffre’s opinions about Andrew are irrelevant in a court room. You can’t put people in prison because someone wrote she thought Andrew was entitled or that they she believed he knew what Epstein was doing.

If there is evidence Andrew should be taken to court, tried, judged and face the consequences the same as anyone else.

  23. ImpossibleStable4878 on

Andrew is toast, but what I am a lot more curious about is why the US chose to throw the UK guys under the bus. Its absolutely clear they covered the tracks of all their people.

  24. Will the Palace or Andrew pay back the £12M tax payer hush money from a few years ago or na?

  25. That’s “if” there is anything found by the squeaky clean Metropolitan Police.
I am not holding my breath to hear “we have investigated this matter and no further investigation is deemed necessary”

“Someone” from the Firm will have tea with “Someone” from the Met and it will be decided that it would be in “everyone’s” interest that this was quietly forgotten along with the Kings Brother who will fade into obscurity.

  26. Some party are so scared to be kicked out of the mansion that they effortlessly born / married into.

  27. I’m sure by support, they’ll happily allow the Police into the Palace and then guide them around to conveniently keep them away from anything incriminating.

  28. From what Andrew Lowny says, the palace does the minimum it has to to avert crisis but basically blocks transparency at every turn thereafter.

  29. The most shocking thing was Andrew giving free tours of the Palace to the latest girl Epstein apparently hooked him up with. Sickening. Our Palace full of history / mystery. Makes me furious.

  30. I’m starting to think Prince Andrew might not have been at Pizza Express in Woking on the evening of the 10th of March 2001.

  31. VirtualArmsDealer on

They have known about Andrew for years. Don’t let them play shocked Pikachu face now!

  32. Andrew in prison, the rest of the monarchy dissolved and their assets taken by the state and the former queen dug up and thrown in a ditch.

Anything less is too good for them, if they face anything in the way of consequences it will be too little too late.

That family has always been poison, even before Epstein, and will continue to be a rot at the top of our society as long as they are allowed to continue living the anachronistic parasitic roles they believe are their birthrights.

  33. The reason for this, I assume, is because the allegations about sleeping with trafficked women and girls are flaky at best (Giuffre is dead, and had a changing story, and the other woman is 26 – It will be hard to prove anything criminal), but sharing confidential information is probably quite easy to prove and get a conviction for.

  34. Never has a global event had the upper class and predator billionaire class so shook.

As that new folk song says ‘let’s kidnap Elon Musk, they can’t stop a million of us’

If the real, honest unrelated details of Epstein and his circle were properly released and prosecuted we would hang the perpetrators from the lamp posts.

They know this, so as many people as possible are publicly distancing themselves and taking actual action to protect themselves.

The USA is having its own ongoing wranglings. The upper echelons of the UK government are clearing house which could result in a PM being toppled. And the UK royal family, known for never reacting to anything, ever are also taking action. Other countries and billionaires are also neck deep in the shit and sweating bullets.

This is an honest once in a lifetime media/political event that’s been going on for years. People and long standing institutions who worry about legacy are cutting this out like cancer. Journalists need to keep digging, because this will never be prosecuted in court fully.
