PARIS- Air France (AF) will operate up to 11 daily flights between Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and New York, serving both New York–JFK Airport (JFK) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) during summer 2026, expanding capacity and passenger flexibility.

Services between Paris–Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) and Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) will increase to two daily flights, while upgraded cabins, including new Business Class and La Première suites, will enhance travel comfort on transatlantic routes.

Air France Expands New York Flights

Air France is strengthening its busiest transatlantic corridor between Paris and New York to meet strong leisure and corporate demand.

The airline will operate:

  • Up to 6 daily Air France flights between Paris CDG and New York JFK.
  • Additional partner services are operated by Delta Air Lines under the joint venture agreement.
  • Up to 2 daily Air France flights between Paris CDG and Newark Liberty Airport.

The Newark route will see an important upgrade from June 1, 2026, doubling frequencies compared to previous seasons. This expansion offers greater scheduling flexibility for both business and leisure travelers.

Flights on the Newark route will be operated using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, featuring Air France’s newest cabin interiors across all travel classes.

New Generation Business Class Experience

Air France continues to deploy its latest Business Class cabin across long-haul aircraft, including A350 and refurbished Boeing 777-300ER fleets.

Each aircraft offers 48 Business Class seats built around the airline’s “3F” design principles:

  • Full Flat beds nearly 2 meters long
  • Full Access with direct aisle access
  • Full Privacy through sliding doors

Seats include premium materials such as wool fabrics, brushed aluminum, and French leather finishes. Couples traveling together can lower the central partition in middle seats to create a shared private space.

Passengers also benefit from larger storage compartments, improved lighting control, and enhanced seat ergonomics. First-row seats additionally feature personal wardrobes and expanded space.

Advanced Inflight Technology and Connectivity

Air France’s Business Class seats feature a 20-inch 4K Ultra HD screen, the largest in its fleet, offering more than 1,500 hours of entertainment.

Technology features include:

  • Bluetooth audio pairing
  • USB-A and USB-C ports
  • Wireless charging pads
  • Personal device connection to screens
  • Touchscreen seat control tablets
  • Wi-Fi access across flights

A new “Do Not Disturb” feature allows passengers to signal rest preferences digitally.

Air France is also deploying complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi powered by Starlink, making it the first major European airline to introduce such connectivity. Fleet-wide installation is expected by the end of the rollout period.

Comfort Upgrades in Premium Economy and Economy

The Airbus A350 cabin also introduces upgrades across other cabins.

Premium Economy

The cabin includes 32 redesigned seats offering:

  • 94 cm legroom
  • 48 cm seat width
  • 121-degree recline
  • Adjustable headrests
  • Enhanced seat cushioning
  • USB-A and USB-C ports
  • Individual storage and reading lights

Passengers also enjoy large 13.3-inch 4K entertainment screens with Bluetooth support.

Economy Class

The Economy cabin provides 212 seats with improved ergonomics:

  • 79 cm legroom
  • 46 cm seat width
  • Enhanced lateral support
  • Adjustable tablet holders
  • USB-C charging ports

Passengers also access Air France Connect Wi-Fi, including a free messaging option.

Special Flights for Cannes Festival Travel

Air France will operate seasonal direct services to Nice Côte d’Azur Airport (NCE) to support major international events.

New York JFK – Nice Flights

  • June 20 and 21, 2026: AF043 departs JFK at 16:30, arrives Nice at 10:35 next day.
  • June 25 and 26, 2026: AF042 departs Nice at 12:00, arrives JFK at 15:00 same day.

Los Angeles – Nice Flights

  • May 11, 2026: AF041 departs Los Angeles (LAX) at 14:00, arrives Nice next day.
  • May 25, 2026: AF040 departs Nice at 13:15, arrives Los Angeles at 16:30.

Flights will operate using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft equipped with upgraded premium cabins.

Delta Air Lines also operates daily JFK–Nice flights under a codeshare partnership.

La Première Suite Expansion

Air France’s new La Première suite represents the airline’s highest luxury standard.

Each suite features:

  • Five-window private suites
  • Seat and day bed converting into a two-meter bed
  • Two 32-inch 4K screens
  • Floor-to-ceiling privacy curtains
  • Wireless charging and touchscreen controls

From July 2026, all flights between Paris CDG and New York JFK and Los Angeles will operate with aircraft fitted with these new suites. The full La Première network will transition to the new cabin by late 2026.
