Drama ends in the capital, Balkan in the quarterfinals of the Kosovo Cup

Pristina hosted Balkan tonight at the “Fadil Vokrri” stadium, with the match played as part of the 1/8 finals of the Kosovo Cup.

In a real thriller, Balkan advanced to the quarterfinals after triumphing on penalties.

After extra time, the match ended 3-3, writes “Gazeta Express”.

The match started better for Prishtina, which scored two goals, one in the first minute and another in the 50th minute.

Phillip Bouye and Mario Ilievski scored for the Capitals.

However, Balkan also responded with two goals, sending the match into overtime.

An own goal from Prishtina and Almir Kryeziu from the penalty spot were the Balkans’ scorers, in the 77th and 89th minutes.

In the extra time, in the 98th minute, Balkan scored again, for 3-2, but Pristina’s response was quick.

After four minutes, Prishtina tied the score at 3-3, sending the match to penalties.

There, the Balkan team won and secured passage to the quarterfinals of the Kosovo Cup./Express newspaper/
