POLAND (WGME) – Police in Poland are investigating a two-car crash that killed one driver.
The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened late Tuesday afternoon on Plains Road.
Officials say 26-year-old Dylan Sanphy of Gorham attempted to pass a vehicle when he collided head-on with an oncoming pickup truck.
That truck was towing a snowmobile trailer.
Deputies say Sanphy died at the scene.
Two other passengers sustained serious injuries and were sent to the hospital.
