Donald Trump’s job approval in the US by state

  1. The 45 in both Texas and Florida should be incredibly concerning to Republicans. That’s like a Democratic President being underwater in California and New York

  2. I can see West Virginia

Lots of racists and lots of people employed by coal that he “resurrected” (in their eyes from the mouths of propaganda spreaders)

  3. Minnesota has always been one of those “Lucy and the football” states for Republicans (kind of like Democrats and Texas), but man, I’m guessing Operation Metro Surge has firmly put it out of play for at least another generation. Trump has higher approval in *California.*

  4. Unfortunately it’s pretty high in Ohio, but there’s a lot of southern states here that are shockers like South Carolina, Florida, and Texas.

  5. America is really held back entirely by its poorest and least-educated regions. That’s not their fault, the folks that live there, it’s their politicians that perpetuate that status quo so they can cling to power.

  6. I ignore these because never see pollsters or get calls from them out in the rural areas of my state which if not for the cities would be red.

  7. Another tool for Trump to use to punish “enemies” and help “supporters.”

Also – only 11 States with approval rating higher than 50%. Very telling.

Why am I not surprised that the poorest/least educated states are also the most pro-trump?

If red is approve and blue is disapprove don’t you think less than 50% approval should be some shade of blue?

He’s below 50% in all five of the biggest red states, Florida, Texas, Ohio, Georgia, and North Carolina. His Presidency is basically over when he’s only above water in some low population hard red states.

Keep in mind that this doesn’t mean that pretty much every state will vote for a democrat.

If the democrats choose another standard democrat like Newsom etc we could see a very tight race

And heaven forbid they pick someine like AOC, Mamdani, etc. There would be many blue states that would hesitate to vote for them or even go red.

  12. Expecting Oklahomans to pay enough attention to actually develop an opinion based on facts is clearly too much to ask. Vote “red” because it’s the only “Christian” way to vote, and wait to do it all over again in another four years regardless of how much the world falls apart in between now and then. Absolute morons.

    Not surprised. Just disappointed. Again.

  13. Ahh…and they wonder why WV is still going downhill with the only region that is growing piggybacking off its neighbors (Eastern Panhandle, only thanks to VA and MD).

Oklahoma…trying to become the next Mississippi. How is losing Devon and Chesapeake (Expand) Energy HQ working out?

    WY and ND…population, 3?

As usual, Florida is somewhere in the middle. I wish we could go back to being truly purple, though.

  15. It’s very interesting how West Virginia and Vermont are both mountain states not all that far apart geographically and heavily White but with stark differences in political opinion.

  16. Since the Gallop has announced that they will stop posting the job approvals of the presidents. I have a new place to see the numbers, thanks.

  17. 36% damn that’s bad. Toronto mayor Rob Ford had a 40% approval rating *after* stupor. he got caught smoking crack. He tried to do damage control by saying “I am not a crack addict I only smoked crack in one of my drunken stupors.

Considering those 50’s used to be high 60’s, people are starting to realize he’s nasty.

  19. Anything above 40 is good in this country! Dont let this fool you, they will win most of the states again in the midterms!
