17-year-old snowboarding phenom Gaon Choi of Team South Korea went down in a big crash during Thursday’s women’s halfpipe final.
After being down for several minutes while receiving medical attention, Choi was able to move all extremities.

Choi was considered the top competition for snowboarder Chloe Kim, who entered Thursday seeking to join Shaun White as the only Olympic athlete to three-peat gold in the event (he did so in 2006, 2010 and 2018).
