    That was the Anatolian uprising led by Atatürk which the Ottoman government declared illegal at the time

  3. That map has many inaccuracies. For instance, the fall of Constantinople took place in 1453, Cyprus was under the Ottomans only between 1571-1878.

    I wanted to compare on Google Earth and just realized that Turkey is the only country in the area whose name is not displayed as the English version. It’s labeled as Türkiye, whilst all the other countries are in English

    This map technically inaccurate . We didn’t had same control over Algeria same as Romania, and Romania almost independent compare to Greek living areas

  6. Very wrong Safavid and Qajars controlled the caucuses from the 1500-1800s the majority of the time
