I commend his bravery, but unfortunately, that is not going to end well for him…

In the glorious Iranian republic where all men are free and equal, the punishment for this kind of carelessness is death.

the way these dictators get betrayed from one day to the other is crazy when compared to how sure they were in their iron fist ordering people around and how sure they were that they had an absolute control
I’d love to see that hit putin in the face

Here I am worried about whether I will be able to wipe my own ass at 86, provided I live that long, and this guy is running a country at this age!

Pretty sure that news presenter will be accidentally falling out of a five story building really soon.

I think western audiences also need to understand that “Death to” in Iran is not said/intended the same way that, say, an American audience understands it. A cab driver in Tehran says “Death to traffic!” He’s not actually calling for the death of the other people on the road. He’s saying fuck this traffic.

Regardless of what happens to the reporter, the message remains. Even if just a handful of people take it to heart, it will make a difference. These kinds of regimes will always breed resistance. The leaders of Iran have felt the scale tipping more and more the last few years.
