The Kosovo national handball team for girls under 16 years of age has completed its appearance at the Mediterranean Championship with a victory, triumphing over North Macedonia after the execution of penalties.
The match for ninth place, held on Saturday at noon, provided many emotions and ended with a tie score of 13:13 in regular time.
The Kosovo girls started the challenge impressively, dominating the first half, which they won with a score of 8:4.
However, the North Macedonian team reacted in the second half, gradually narrowing the lead until a draw, which led the match to penalties.

In the seven-meter throws, our handball players showed more composure and accuracy, triumphing 3:1, for a total score of 16:14.
The heroine of the match was goalkeeper Melisa Sefa, who saved three penalties, sealing the victory and ensuring a successful conclusion to the championship for Kosovo U16./Telegrafi/
