A person on X just made a comparison that has locals doing a double take, saying Malta looks like a real-life Fortnite map from the sky.
The island’s aerial view feels straight out of the game, with cliffs, compact towns, farmland patches and bright blue water all packed into one small map.
At just 122 square miles, Malta’s tight layout was compared to a classic POI-style setup.
The sharp coastlines and inlets even resemble natural drop spots, while the mix of dense cities like Valletta sitting right next to countryside and beaches mirrors Fortnite’s biome-style map design.
The post has garnered almost two million views with people in the comments agreeing and discussing where in Malta would be which POI.
