US rapper Pitbull will be performing in Malta this summer, in an August 2 concert which will see him joined by special guest Lil Jon.
The performance is part of the “I’m Back” tour the Miami-born musician, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, is performing this year.
The concert will involve two Grammy-award winning musicians who have long collaborated together: Lil Jon is the executive producer of Pitbull’s debut album M.I.A.M.I and has regularly made guest appearances in Pitbull’s tracks. The Atlanta rapper is considered to be the progenitor of the hip-hop subgenre crunk.
The concert is being organised by greatt and NnG Promotions, and general ticket sales open on Friday. Tickets start at €60, and registration is through www.eventworks.mt/pitbull.
